Maintain 2 Blogs on the Same Topics?
Currently, I maintain two blogs for My Depression Story. I don’t know which to continue supporting. I have one on WordPress, where I get more visitors. I have this one on my own webhost, where I don’t get any visitors. I don’t want to duplicate every entry. The only advantage of having it on WordPress.com is the number of visitors. There are a lot more advantages with having it on my own webhost, since I can customize everything, add plugins, modify the database, etc. Maybe I need to find a way to draw visitors to MyDepressionStory.com and abandon the WordPress.com blog.

[tried posting this comment on your mydepressionstory.com but I kept getting a comment-spam error and couldn’t find your email addy. This is re: your post on keeping 2 websites]

You can write a couple of sentences for wordpress.com and create a link to this website; people will figure out that this is the place to visit.

(PS thanks for including nakedmedicine.com on your list of links to check out; I don’t update that site very often but there are many good articles written by guest contributors in addition to my own commentaries)

Thanks Jane for telling me about the invalid spam detection problem with mydepressionstory.com website. I just fixed it.
Most of all, thanks for giving me a good idea on how to use my blog on WordPress.com.

I think as long as you are getting your story out it is good. Two blogs I guess are better than one. Just take turns which one you post to.
Thanks for putting out your story for people like me who suffer with depression.
